Don Kenn has that uncanny ability to put together a story on an ordinary little post-it. Also known as John Kenn Mortensen, Don Kenn’s highly imaginative but macabre drawings on yellow post-its, of innocent children amidst ugly trolls, terrifying zombies, monstrous mythical creatures, and devilishly horned demons in a twisted world, have earned him legions of fans from around the world. John Kenn’s obsession with the dark, spooky side of childhood led to his debut ‘Sticky Monsters’ which went on to be a cult hit. He has also illustrated the hugely popular Neil Gaiman’s Hansel & Gretel as well as Roald Dahl’s Charlies and the Chocolate Factory and The Witches. Of his drawings, Don Kenn says, “My work is kind of a salute to the misfits of the world.”
